A Double Celebration for Medical Tourism Workers

On November 9, 2025 – on the “Day of Medical Workers” – the next presentation of the honorary badge “O’zbekistonda tibbiy turizmni rivojlantirishda qo’shgan hissasi uchun” (“For contribution to the development of medical tourism in Uzbekistan”) was held to persons whose work contributes to the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No PP-335 dated 09/23/2024 “On additional measures for the further development of medical and health tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The ceremony of awarding the badge of honor, established by the Medical Tourism Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021, was opened by the Chairman of the Medical Tourism Association A.F. Shukurov, who cordially congratulated all those present on the professional holiday “Day of Medical Workers”.

Then the presentation of badges took place. The number of almost 60 awardees included heads of higher medical educational institutions, private clinics, doctors and other specialists, whose work contributed to the training of qualified specialists, improving the quality and range of high-tech medical services provided to the population, and, as a result, raising the level and prestige of national health care both on the scale of the republic and abroad.

In addition, the persons whose activities in 2025 were recognized as the most fruitful and successful were awarded special prizes “2025 yilning eng muvaffaqiyatli mutaxassisi” (“The most successful specialist of 2025”) and the corresponding certificates (the list of awardees can be found on our website).

The award ceremony ended with a mass photo session of the awardees and members of the Board of the Association.
