Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan presented the honorary badge “Ozbekistonda tibbiy turizmni rivojlantirishda qoshgan hissasi uchun” (“For Contribution to the Development of Medical Tourism in Uzbekistan”).
The ceremony was opened by A.Sh. Inoyatov, First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who first congratulated everyone present on the professional holiday, Medical Workers’ Day. He then focused on the current state, challenges, and prospects of the domestic healthcare system, as well as the role of the private medical sector in achieving the objectives set by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev to accelerate Uzbekistan’s entry into the group of world leaders in the quality and range of medical services. The role and objectives of the Medical Tourism Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan in achieving this goal were specifically noted.
The next speaker, Chairman of the Medical Tourism Association, A.F. Shukurov, thanked the previous speaker for his congratulations and warm wishes and assured that the Association will use all its efforts, knowledge, and resources to ensure that domestic medicine takes its rightful place among leading countries in the field of medical tourism in the coming years, thereby contributing to strengthening the republic’s economic potential. The awards ceremony followed.
