The Republican Perinatal Center was established pursuant to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 46 of February 15, 2000, “On the state program “Soglom avlod uchun” (Promotion of Childbirth). The center opened on June 1, 2002, and began accepting patients on September 27, 2002.

The Republican Perinatal Center is a level III facility providing perinatal care. The Center’s facilities include maternity wards, a pregnancy pathology department, premature infant and neonatal pathology departments, a neonatal surgery department, a neonatal intensive care unit, a consultative and diagnostic clinic, a gynecology department, a women’s intensive care unit, and a clinical laboratory.
The Republican Perinatal Center houses the Republican Educational, Treatment, and Methodological Centers for Neonatal Surgery and Endovisual Gynecology.
A resuscitation and advisory team has been operating since 2008.
The center provides specialized, high-tech medical care to women with preterm labor, prenatal rupture of membranes, severe extragenital diseases, congenital malformations in the fetus, a history of perinatal loss, fetal growth retardation syndrome, pregnancy complications (severe preeclampsia, placental abruption, etc.), Rh immunization, malformations of the genital organs, malposition of pregnancy, multiple pregnancies, etc.
