Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Urology

The history of the center began in 1992, with the establishment of the “Scientific Center of Urology”. In 2017, after the changes of the name and ownership, the center received the status of a State Institution and its current name.
The center’s work is organized on the basis of the approved “Standards for the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases”, compiled according to Guidelines of the European Association of Urologists, and the experience of leading foreign clinics.
The following high-tech diagnostic and therapeutic interventions are practiced in the center: extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy of stones kidney and upper urinary tract, endoscopic percutaneous operations on the kidneys and the upper urinary tract, endoscopic transurethral surgery of the lower urinary tract and prostate gland using high-frequency mono and bipolar energy and the laser beam, laparoscopic and retroperitoneoscopic operations on the upper and lower urinary tract anomalies and urooncological diseases, microsurgical operations on the vas deferens, penile prosthetics, a complex of endoscopic surgical technologies for complex extended strictures and urethral obliterations under X-ray control, and a wide range of reconstructive and plastic operations on the kidneys and urinary tract.
The center has a hospital with 100 beds, located in 3 urological units. The rooms are designed for the treatment of one or two patients with all the necessary amenities, resembling the hotel rooms. There are 46 standard and 10 superior rooms.
