“O`zbekistonda tibbiy turizmni rivojlantirishda qo`shgan hissasi uchun” 2024 год On November 12, 2023, on the “Day of Medical Workers”, the next (third) presentation of the honorary badge “O`zbekistonda tibbiy turizmni rivojlantirishda qo`shgan hissasi uchun” (“For contribution to the development of medical tourism in Uzbekistan”), established by the Association of Medical Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021, took place in the conference hall of the AkfaMedline multidisciplinary clinic.
The award ceremony was opened by A.F. Shukurov, Chairman of the Medical Tourism Association, who warmly congratulated everyone present on their professional holiday, Medical Workers’ Day. He then discussed the current state, challenges, and prospects of the domestic healthcare system, as well as the role of the private medical sector in addressing the objectives set by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to accelerate Uzbekistan’s entry into the ranks of global leaders in the quality and range of medical services. The role, objectives, and achievements of the Medical Tourism Association for the current year were also highlighted.
The awards ceremony then took place in a solemn and festive atmosphere. In 2023, 50 directors and specialists from public and private medical institutions across the country received the honorary award, selected by a special committee from over 500 nominees (the list of recipients is published on our website).
The award ceremony concluded with a mass photo session of the award recipients and members of the Association’s board.
