The center was established in 2014 on the basis of the Uzbek Research Institute of Dermatology and Venereology.

The center provides specialized dermatovenerological and cosmetological care in the following areas: dermatology, venereology, cosmetology, mycology, plastic surgery, hair transplantation, podology, etc.

The center includes a clinic with 160 beds, a consultative polyclinic with 100 appointments per shift, and auxiliary units. The center has 96 doctors, 13 of whom are Doctors of Medical Sciences, 23 -Candidates of Medical Sciences.

The center is the training base of the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases of TASHIPGME. It provides a number of modern high-tech medical, diagnostic and wellness services, such as: auto melanocyte transplantation in vitiligo, hair and eyebrow transplantation, video trichodermatoscopy, auto plasm therapy of the intimate zone, plastic and aesthetic surgery, using advanced laser technologies, histological and immunohistochemical studies in complex dermatoses, and physiotherapy methods of treatment.
