The center was founded in 2007 on the basis of the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology. It is the main specialized institution of the country.

The center has a clinic with 178 beds, 10 clinical departments, and a scientific-advisory polyclinic.

The center provides comprehensive treatment for habitual miscarriage, placental insufficiency, infertility, various pathologies of the fetus and placenta with the use of fetal surgery, high–tech surgical organ-preserving treatment for giant genital tumors, and other organ-preserving and reconstructive plastic surgeries. The introduction of assisted reproductive technologies has begun.

The hospital has rooms of higher comfort level. The super-luxury rooms are equipped with modern furniture and household appliances: refrigerator, electric kettle, spacious wardrobe for clothes, armchairs, coffee table, air conditioning with climate control, free Wi-Fi, and separate bathroom.

Patients and their accompanying persons can combine their treatment with sightseeing of ancient monuments, such as Kukeldash Madrasah, Shaykhontokhur and Zangi-ata complexes, Hazrat Imam Ensemble, Jami and Tillya-sheikh mosques, Namazgoh, as well as numerous other sights of historical and cultural heritage.
