The Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology (RSSPMC A and G) was established on the basis of the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-3923 dated September 19, 2007 “On the main directions of further deepening reforms and implementing the State Program for Healthcare Development” and the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-700 dated October 2, 2007 “On measures to improve the organization of activities of medical institutions of the republic”.
The Center was founded in 2007 on the premises of the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology. It is the republic’s leading specialized institution.
The Center comprises a 178-bed clinic, consisting of 10 clinical departments, and a research and consultative outpatient clinic.
The Center provides comprehensive treatment for recurrent miscarriage, placental insufficiency, infertility, and various fetal and placental pathologies using fetal surgery. It also performs high-tech organ-preserving surgery for giant genital tumors and other organ-preserving and reconstructive plastic surgeries. Assisted reproductive technologies have also been introduced.
The Center’s inpatient department offers superior-quality rooms. These super-luxury rooms feature modern furniture and appliances, including a refrigerator, electric kettle, spacious wardrobe, armchairs, coffee table, climate-controlled air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a private restroom with shower for personal hygiene.
Patients and their accompanying persons can combine the diagnostic and treatment process with a tour of ancient monuments such as the Kukeldash Madrasah, the Sheikhantokhur and Zangi-ata complexes, the Hazrat Imam ensemble, the Jami, Tilla-Sheikh, and Namazgokh mosques, as well as numerous other historical and cultural heritage sites.
