Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Pediatrics

The history of the center goes back to 1927, when the Research Institute for Maternal and Infant Health began to work in the field of maternal and child health. In 2007, after a series of transformations and renaming, the center received its current name and status.
Currently, the center operates in the following main areas of pediatrics: pulmonology, cardiology and rheumatology, gastroenterology, hepatology, neurology, nephrology, otorhinolaryngology, allergology, surgery, diseases of young children, and neonatology.
Inpatient units have 385 beds, and the polyclinic is designed for 300 visits per shift.
For patients from abroad, each unit has allocated one comfortable room (16 in total), that has TV, microwave, refrigerator, dining table, private bathroom with hot and cold water, air conditioning, and two beds. The medical service includes the attendance of one nurse for constant monitoring, an interpreter, an airport-clinic-airport transfer, and if necessary, booking a hotel for accompanying persons.
