RSSPMCH is the only medical institution in Uzbekistan that specializes in high-tech diagnostics and treatment of hematological and oncohematological diseases.

The center is a scientific and practical complex consisting of scientific, diagnostic and clinical divisions. Now, it is a large educational and scientific center, with three departments of institutes functioning on its basis.

The center includes the following main divisions:

– Consultative and diagnostic polyclinic;

– Two hematology units for adults;

– Two hematology units for children;

– Stem cell transplant center;

– Day hospital;

– Extracorporeal blood purification unit;

– Center for Hemophilia and Hematopoietic Depression and other units.

The center collaborates with medical institutions of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Germany, Holland, Japan, and participates in the work of international organizations (World Organization of Hemophilia, TIKA, MehrNuri, GIPAP).

The departments of cytogenetics, molecular genetics and the department for the study of stem cells (cell technology) were created on the basis of the laboratory of medical genetics. To date, almost all the latest methods of genetic research have been established and mastered here.
