On June 11, 2026, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology (RSSPMCE) held a scientific and practical conference, “Development of Medical and Health Tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan: Attracting Foreign Patients and Enhancing the International Prestige of Medicine.”
The conference was attended by leaders and specialists from the RSSPMCE, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Sister Cities Alliance, and organizations and institutions from Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, the USA, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. A. Akhmedov, Deputy Chairman of the Medical Tourism Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan, moderated and was one of the speakers. The conference program included presentations on current issues in the development of medical tourism, the role of government, commercial, and non-profit organizations, and challenges and solutions in today’s environment.

The conference further expanded the Association’s international reach and provided the opportunity for direct business contacts with colleagues from Pakistan and the United States.
