From April 22-25, 2025, the 23rd Kazakhstan International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (KITF-2025) was held in Almaty, the former capital of Kazakhstan. The exhibition featured a section on “Health, Wellness, and Medical Tourism.” Over 530 companies from 31 countries participated in the exhibition.
The delegation of medical and health institutions of the Republic, formed by the Medical Tourism Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan, included representatives of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Pediatrics, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology, the National Children’s Medical Center, the AKFA MEDLINE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, the Samarkand Wellness Health Centers, and others. It was led by K. Mamirov, Head of the Association’s Medical Tourism Development Department.
During the exhibition, members of the Uzbek delegation held numerous and in-depth negotiations with representatives of leading medical and health institutions from Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Slovenia, and Thailand.

The Uzbek delegation’s visit concluded with an info tour organized by their Kazakh colleagues to the Orhun Medical Oncology Center.
