At the suggestion of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan Medical Tourism Association held a roundtable meeting on November 4, 2025, between specialists from our country and representatives of several private medical institutions in Novosibirsk, Russia.
The meeting was held in the conference room of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers, kindly provided by the Center’s management. The meeting was attended by the Center’s deputy director, deans, and department heads, as well as specialists from the RSSPMC of Endocrinology, Pediatrics, and others.

On the Russian side, presentations were made by representatives of the MEDICA Multidisciplinary Medical Center, the APEX Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Professor Khachatryan’s Hydrogen Medicine Clinic, the Zdravitsa Family Medicine Center, the Ophthalmological Clinic of Dr. Puzyrevsky, and the SL media portal, part of the Siberian Life media holding. During and after the presentations, an exchange of views took place on cross-border patient routing and treatment, specialist training, and other issues related to the development of medical tourism. The parties agreed that, despite some challenges related to the regulatory and legal differences between our countries in the healthcare sector, there are promising prospects for establishing long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.
