From June 4-8, 2025, a group of Uzbek specialists visited Fudan University in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. The delegation was led by A. Shukurov, Chairman of the Medical Tourism Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As part of the information tour organized by the Chinese side, the delegation visited several hospitals affiliated with Fudan University and learned about the advanced medical technologies and leading specialists they employ.

During negotiations with the university’s leadership, an agreement was reached on the possibility of training and retraining Uzbek specialists at the university’s clinical facilities, jointly conducting events in the field of medical tourism, humanitarian campaigns, and other activities.
