On July 30, 2024, a meeting between the heads of the Ministry of Resorts, Tourism, and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation and representatives of relevant agencies and organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As part of the event, B2B negotiations were held between E. Pitenko, Head of the Recreational Resources Development Department of the Ministry’s Department for the Development of Health Resorts, Resorts, and Recreational Resources, and A. Akhmedov, Deputy Chairman of the Medical Tourism Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the negotiations, both parties expressed a desire to establish and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of health and recreational tourism between the Krasnodar Territory and Uzbekistan, and outlined practical steps for its implementation (signing memoranda of cooperation, creating a roadmap, organizing infotours, etc.).
